Shopping for 38DD bras
Every woman’s body shape is different. From straight and athletic to full and curvy, every woman deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin. A huge part of this concept is owning the right bras for your size. If you are a 38DD bra size, you are a gorgeous busty woman and a lot of other ladies would love to be in the same cup size region as you. There is no reason why busty woman have to try and fit the cookie cutter bras that come from commercial lingerie retailers. These stores will usually carry a 38 bust size with a DD cup but they will usually have a very minimal selection for you.
Where should you go to find the right bra? Online. Simple as that. There are hundreds of 38DD bras available online for you. The beauty of shopping online is that you have a huge selection to choose from and they often have promotions and sales.
My favorite bra for your size
The first thing that I did working as a lingerie consultant was to try on every single style of bra out there. I tried on dozens of bras, push up bras, plunge bras, strapless bras, you name it, and I tried it on. I made sure to try on different strap sizes and widths as well. I noticed that I liked some bras more than others and this goes for you as well. Learning from this experience and the stories from many of my customers, any woman with a DD cup size will look great in any type of bra. You just have to make sure that you are fully supported and like the style of bra.
My favorite bra for the 38DD size will often clasp in the front. This is the perfect bra for you because it is easy to take off and put on while being fully supportive. One of the best front close bras for you would be the Bra-llelujah Front Close T-Shirt Bra by Spanx. It features wide straps and a silky material that feels great on the skin so it won’t leave any red marks. Make sure to look into it at Barenecessities.com. They also have a multitude of other styles for you.

I know that bra shopping can be just as difficult as bathing suit shopping. The best thing to do to avoid a frustrating fitting room session, is to get properly sized. Once you get the right bra size you can take your shopping to the web. Not only are there so many options, like I mentioned before, there are thousands of other women that have reviewed larger bras for bigger cup sizes.
Many reviews online reveal that DD sized women need bras that can fully support them and have wider straps, any bra fitter will tell you the same. This is to make sure that there’s not too much stretching in the bra, no indents or marks along the shoulders, and to ensure better posture.

Finding your favorite brand
Don’t get stuck in your local Victoria Secret surrounded by bras that fit your style but don’t fit your breasts. You’ll find that there is a large market for full figured cup sizes online; therefore you see more bra brands popping up. You have to make sure that you choose a brand that you like; one that carries the types of styles and cuts that spark your interest. Always shop for brands that are good quality and are within your budget. I suggest looking into Chantelle, Parfait, and Miss Mandalay.
The right size to save you money
One of the most interesting facts that I found out while sizing women’s breasts, is that whenever they go to other lingerie stores they are given the wrong size. Don’t let this happen to you! What the advisors will often do is tell customers that they are a smaller cup size and a bigger band width so they can squeeze them into the bras they sell at the stores. This is really misleading and results in an unfortunate fact that most women are not properly informed of their bra size. They spend so much money on something that does not work for them.
