Where to buy 34DDD bras

If you wear a 34DDD bra size, you’ve probably discovered that finding the best bras can be really frustrating. Sure, Victoria’s Secret now sells up to a DDD cup in some of its lines, but their bras are known for fitting so poorly that they are almost DDD in name only.

Even though I’m putting myself through school as the lead bra fitter at a well-known department store, the reality is that the internet is the best place to buy large cup size bras. Not only is it possible that my store isn’t located near you, but you get even better selection when you shop online. And if you’re busty like I am, you know that selection can be hard to come by.

My favorite bra for you

I’ve helped dozens of women in all sizes, including a lot of 34DDDs. From my customers’ personal experience, I can tell you that one of the best bras for everyday wear is the Wacoal Basic Beauty Bra. It’s a basic bra that provides excellent comfort and great support for your breasts; you can buy it on BareNecessities.

However, there are a lot of great options no matter what type of bra you want. That’s what I’m here to help you with, whether you’re looking for an everyday bra or a padded push-up bra.

The best 34DDD bras

Here’s the thing: you actually have a lot of choices for buying bras, just as smaller sized girls do. That means that not only can you buy everyday T-shirt bras that smooth under your favorite tops, but you can also buy great balconette bras, push-up bras, and everything in between. You can even buy strapless bras (YES, it actually is possible to buy a 34DDD strapless bra that actually stays up!).

Generally, shopping for bras that women with your same cup size love is the best way to go. If you’re a DDD cup, start with what fits for other DDD girls. In this case, your band size is not as important.

I’ve written a list of the best bras for your cup size, which you can read by clicking here.

If you’re looking for something more specific:

  • My favorite T-shirt bras
  • My favorite sports bras
  • My favorite push-up bras
  • My favorite minimizer bras
  • My favorite strapless bras
  • My favorite convertible bras
  • No matter what you’re looking for, here’s the good news: there are comfortable, supportive, and beautiful bras in your size no matter what anyone says. You don’t have to settle for your grandma’s ugly nude bras anymore, nor do you have to sacrifice style to get a great fit. Today, there are great brands that go all the way up to a K cup.

    The best bra brands

You can read my list of my favorite bra brands for busty girls, which include Freya, Panache, and Wacoal. There are more brands than ever that cater to full figure cup sizes. In fact, my favorite brands often ONLY make bras in DD+ cup sizes and understand the struggles that we busty girls have.

I recommend avoiding Victoria’s Secret and most other mall brands if you want a good fit. While my department store is committed to proper sizing, most mall stores are only concerned about shoving you into one of their standard sizes and making a sale. That’s why so many women claim to wear a 34B or 36C, and it’s why I recommend buying your bras online for the greatest selection and no pressure.

    Check your bra size

Speaking of size, make sure you are wearing the right size now. If you aren’t sure, my bra fitting guide will help you. This is important, because while Oprah is famous for breaking the claim that 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, I’d say the number is closer to 95%.

It’s possible that you’ve been told you’re a 34DDD thanks to “sister sizes”, something bra retailers use to sell sizes they have in stock rather than your real size. If you’re thin and curvy, it’s possible that you’re really a 32F or even a 30G. For years, I was shoved into the all-too-common 36C because stores didn’t stock the DDD cups I really needed.

Lastly, don’t let celebrity bra sizes get you down; the truth is that many of the bustiest celebrities are much bigger than a DDD. There is no reason to freak out about having a “large” cup size; you’re perfect the way you are and deserve bras that fit and support you.
